About James
James is a Director and joint founder of Holden Smith Law, which was formed in 2019. He specialises in property law, overseeing all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing.
With extensive experience in property law, James is typically involved with commercial property, dealing with site acquisition, landlord and tenant work, social landlord matters or helping businesses grow their property portfolio.
James is known for his straight-talking commercial advice, which is to the point and allows matters to progress quickly.
He is a qualified solicitor, having been admitted in 2013. James studied LLB Law at Manchester Metropolitan University and completed his LPC at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Following his LPC, James then trained and qualified at a local mid-tier Leeds firm, where he became their youngest ever partner before opening Holden Smith Law in 2019.
